Focus and Scope
Research Results in Pharmacology is a peer-reviewed, open access, online journal covering various aspects of pharmacology. The Journal publishes articles in the field of pharmacotherapy, pharmacokinetics, pharmacoepidemiology, personalized therapy, multicenter studies, molecular screening, evidence-based medicine, proteomics, cellular technologies, results of experimental studies in modeling abnormalities in laboratory animals and clinical studies.
Research Results in Pharmacology is established to facilitate the international cooperation in pharmacological research through: (1) English-language publication of high-quality work performed in Russia and other neighboring countries, following the highest possible publishing standards, and (2) involvement of foreign researchers in joint scientific and publication projects.
Research Results in Pharmacology is a diamond open access journal, which means it is free to publish, read, distribute and re-use, thanks to the financial support of the Belgorod National Research University (BelSU). The articles are published online when ready in four issues a year.
Research Results in Pharmacology will consider for publication articles on:
- promising pharmacological targets,
- highly efficient molecular screening with the use of modern methods of proteomics,
- cellular technologies,
- experimental studies in modeling abnormalities in laboratory animals,
- new experimental models on transgenic animals and their use in experimental pharmacology,
- historical issues of experimental and clinical pharmacology,
- structure-action analysis of innovative molecules and forecasting pharmacological activity,
- issues of metabolomics,
- clinical studies in the field of pharmacotherapy, pharmacokinetics, pharmacoepidemiology, personalized therapy, multicenter studies and evidence-based medicine.
The following categories of articles will be considered:
- original research articles,
- reviews - longer articles, offering a comprehensive overview, historical analysis or/and future perspectives of a topic,
- short communications,
- discussion papers,
- methods,
- data papers,
- book reviews,
- monographs and collections of papers with no limit in size, published as 'special issues’.
The Journal publishes electronic versions of the articles when these are ready to publish, without delays that might be caused by the completion of an issue. These electronic versions are not "pre-prints" but final and immutable versions of record. The date indicated on the electronic version is to be considered the actual publication date.
By permission of the Journal's founder, the Belgorod National Research University (BelSU), articles of the Russian-speaking authors will be posted in Russian on the BelSU official site
